Meditative drawings
During covid lockdowns, I revisited old ways of making within my practice. This mark making is inspired by the super detailed meditative drawings that I used to make when I was a teenager. I remember life feeling chaotic but when I made drawings like these I was so focused, chilled and at peace. These are a celebration of those times. Drawings measure at 21 x 21 cm and made from biros at Wilkos and are priced at minimum wage x 6 hours. (How long it takes to make them). The price of these has increased from £55 in 2020 to £63 in 2023 to run in line with the UK’s minimum wage increases.
